Sciberc the Mischievous I: A Tale of Whiskers and Woe
Once upon a time, in the cozy corner of a chaotic cottage, lived a smug little cat named Sciberc. With fur as black as midnight and eyes that gleamed like stolen sapphires, Sciberc was known far and wideânot for his charm, but for his mischief.
Sciberc had four dear friends⌠or victims, depending on who you asked:
- Enigma, the clever fox who spoke in riddles.
- Anxis, the anxious bunny who flinched at shadows.
- Les, the sleepy turtle who always had crumbs on his shell.
- And Crog, the grumpy frog who croaked operatic melodies at 3 AM.
They all lived together in what used to be a harmonious woodland. But Sciberc had⌠other plans. Plans that involved snacks. :3
Chapter One: Enigmaâs Riddle
One crisp morning, Sciberc padded up to Enigma, who was perched on a stump muttering,
âWhat has paws, purrs, and plots your demise?â
Sciberc grinned wide.
âThe answer is me.â
And before Enigma could utter a second riddle, chomp. One riddle masterâdevoured.
Chapter Two: Anxisâs Last Panic
Hopping nervously through a patch of daisies, Anxis spotted Sciberc slinking closer.
âS-Sciberc? You wouldnât eat me, right? Friends donât eat friendsâŚâ
Sciberc tilted his head, tail flicking.
âThat depends. Are you friend... or food?â
âBUNNIES ARE FRIENDS!â Anxis squealed and boltedâonly to trip over a rock.
A soft purr. A shadow falls. Crunch. Gone.
Chapter Three: Les Takes a Nap
Les was napping in the sun, dreaming of dandelion sandwiches and jazz music. Sciberc tiptoed up.
He poked the turtleâs shell.
âLes?â
A snore.
âYou awake?â
Another snore.
Sciberc shrugged.
âGuess not.â
He unhinged his jaw cartoonishly wide, like a snake that majored in drama, and swallowed Les whole, shell and all.
âTastes like old salad and regret.â
Chapter Four: Crogâs Encore
Crog knew something was wrong. She sat in the middle of the pond, glaring at Sciberc from a lily pad.
âYou wouldnât dare.â
Sciberc raised a paw, tail twitching.
âOh, but I would.âCrog let out one final operatic bellowââREEEEEEEE!ââand dove into the water.
But Sciberc cannonballed in after her, emerging seconds later with a wet, wiggling snack.
âDelicious and dramatic.âGulp.
Epilogue: The Purrfect Ending
Now alone, Sciberc sat on a throne made of sticks and socks, belly round, whiskers twitching. He licked his paw, smirking into the twilight.
âFriends are tasty. I should make more.âAnd in the distance, a squirrel shivered.
Buhaha :3
Chapter Five: Kitsune's Trick
Now, only one friend remained: Kitsune. A fiery, nine-tailed fox spirit with eyes like molten gold and a mischievous streak that rivaled even Scibercâs own.
Kitsune wasnât fooled.
Sheâd seen Enigma vanish mid-riddle.
Sheâd heard Anxis scream in stereo.
Sheâd watched Les disappear like a lunchtime snack.
She even saw Crogâs final REEEE echo across the pond.
âSciberc,â she said, tails flicking in sync. âYouâve eaten everyone.âSciberc licked his lips and purred.
âItâs called friend reduction. Very on-trend.âKitsune smirked and began to danceâa swirling, glowing movement of illusion and fire, painting the air with magic. Dozens of Kitsunes blinked into existence, circling the mischievous cat.
âWhich oneâs real?â they whispered in unison.Sciberc narrowed his eyes.
âCute.âThen he pounced.
Kitsunes poofed into smoke one by oneâfake, fake, fakeâuntil finally, he landed on the real one.
They stared at each other.
âYouâre clever,â Kitsune whispered, impressed.âYouâre crunchy,â Sciberc whispered back.CHOMP.
Fireworks exploded behind his eyes. Kitsuneâs spirit surged through himâfiery, electric, almost too much to containâbut Sciberc burped, tail swishing triumphantly.
âTasted like fireworks and sass.â
Final Epilogue: Alone at Last
The sun dipped below the horizon. Sciberc sat alone under the stars, belly rounder than the moon, tail coiled like a question mark.
He sighed, content.
âI miss my friends...âA pause.
âBut not enough to spit them out.âHe yawned.
âMaybe tomorrow Iâll eat the narrator.âWait, what?
Buhaha :3
